Washington Senators vs Orioles Sept 9th, 1969 at Memorial Stadium


It was a double header. Went with my dad. I brought my pigtail league glove and meticulously kept the scorecard. Can't believe we sat through two games and I never once got bored and wanted to go home. My mom was so mad at my dad when we got home. He didn't think to call her to tell her we were staying for the 2nd game.

It is one of the best memories I have of my dad.

I became a fan of the Orioles since then until I came to hate Peter Angelos. Too bad he's such a schmuck. I would have still liked both teams until he ruined it.
