Honestly wouldn't surprise me

Given these kids were coming to wrestle at a non-historic wrestling school and could go anywhere in the country, there were only coming here for Brands. While I have no inside information, I can see parents wanting assurances that their kids would be released if Brand's left or was let go before signing their letters of intent.

I always knew Brands would move on to Iowa if ever given the chance just hoped he wouldn't have had the opportunity as soon as he did. And, while the situation sucked, I do feel a little sorry for those kids who lost a year of competing.

With all that said, still gives Brands no excuse for not wrestling VT now. He should have no beef since his decisions caused the issue, only those four kids have a right to complain.
