i don't know much about wrestling, but kinda getting into it seeing my cousin go to 3 straight state finals. just a cursory look at the top programs and top coaches show how important it is to get a guy leading the program that was a former winner. I mean that Ok. st. and penn st. coaches are two of the best wrestlers that ever lived. compare that to football coaches. don't think nick saban and urban meyer are that quality of player.

we have assistants with some pedigree and dresser won one championship as wrestler. there are a couple guys out there who fit the mold. our assistant and brother affiliated with usa wrestling in there. brands and bro. sanderson and bro. wrestling is a real brotherhood. iowa and iowa state connections are strong. current oregon st. coach is interesting. or nate carr jr. or try and get jake herbert into coaching. i don't know much, but we have to keep this program up there for the good of the sport.
