Same here. But when I did balance my checkbook monthly


back before online banking, I got everything reconciled to the penny every month for probably 10-15 years.

Process is a bit different for me now with online banking. I mainly just look at all the transactions every few days, make sure nothing looks fishy, and update the estimates in the budget with the actual figures.
