Replacing Serpentine belts are easy. Just get the routing diagram first.


Take a picture if you can't find it online.

If buying that truck, would buy a kit that has the water pump, tensioner, idler pulleys, belt, etc. and replace everything at once. That goes for a DIYer, or if you pay someone to do it for you. Just do it once and forget about that area on the truck for the next 150K+ miles.

If you do it yourself, spend the extra cash to buy OEM Toyota parts. (Heck, I would buy OEM in either case.). There are companies that sell these type of kits at a discounted price.
