Here's the logic .....


The NCAA coaches panel and RPI came out today and those are the only rankings that matter.

ACC - 141:
Yes, the ACC has 3 wrestlers (Jack, DiCamillo, and Ward) in the top 7 but there is only one other ACC wrestler (N. Zanetta of Pitt) in the NCAA coaches panel top 33 and he is 31st and that spot will not typically get an allocation. They typically have 25 to 29 allocations per weight class to leave room for higher seeded at-larges for the conference tournament upsets.

ACC - 157:
ACC has 5 wrestlers (Sal at 16, Atkinson at 18, Bullard at 21, Moon at 28, and Rahmani at 31) in the top 33. They seem to reach by 1 to get 5 for the ACC in this weight class although Rahmani has an RPI of 25 which helped him as opposed to Zanetta at 141 who's RPI is outside the top 33.

ACC -184:
Ness is not in the Coaches Panel top 33 (he hasn't wrestled in about 6 weeks).
