Yep, What is now Urban Affairs and Planning (UAP).

He was wooed back to campus in the early 1990s in the hopes that he would give back to the department. He was apparently still hinged then, but the wooing was for naught.

During that time, Bannon became acting director of the Earth-science research project Biosphere 2 in Oracle, Arizona. Under Bannon, the project shifted emphasis from researching space exploration and colonization toward pollution and global warming. I guess that's no longer a concern.
