Austin DeSanto is an instant legend. Vision Quest II.

I watched the finals on TV. His upset of Spencer Lee was an instant classic (injury or no injury).

DeSanto (a senior, going to Drexel I think) got tech-falled by Lee year in the final. He was wresting a weight class up all year and decided to drop down to take on Lee, a world champ, 3x state champ, #1 wrestler in the nation.

DeSanto didn't have a state title of his own yet, and would have had an easier route up at 132 lbs. His school, Exeter, has a very nice program but didn't yet have a state champion in their history. Anyway, it was just mind-blowing that he'd drop just for the chance to take on Lee again. Lee is a great, great champion though--will do great at Iowa.
