Cool. The "multiple attackers" thing applies to all arts


I totally get what you are saying but I would also say that if you have two halfway skilled attackers, you cannot truly effectively manage the distance against both of them simultaneously with any art.

The best art against multiple is track and field. Defense against knives actually is covered in many schools.

I like the standup striking arts as well and I am thankful for my Kajukenbo training. The one thing that I like about BJJ is that you can handle things without much if any striking-related damage to them or you if you can get straight to a chokeout. No busted elbows/knuckles and no dental bills from his attorney
