both doors were open when I arrived. He was chatting with some of us and stepped out briefly. At some point, one of the doors was closed. When he returned, he was looking at some papers he was carrying and walked directly into the closed door. Didn't break the door but it was a loud collision. Some in the room thought he was playing the "kick the door and act like you hit your head" trick. The cut was simply caused by the blunt impact and was just above his eyebrow.
