Longwood's talent is not better than VT

but the win-loss records show them with the upper hand. They do have 2 pitchers currently who are stronger and more experienced than ours.

They also have a coach who was a successful player in her day. She is in the ECU sports hall of fame as both a softball and basketball player. Her teams are always prepared and this week they swept UVA at home. Interesting they only got 5 or 6 hits all day but won by scores of 1-0 in game one and 2-1 in game 2. Both runs came as HRs.
