I am not going to argue that baseball has a bigger national fanbase.

What I don't believe is that baseball will be more successful then wrestling at Boise State. Wrestling was the only sport there that was in a Power 5 conference - Pac 12. Next to football, it was by far its most successful sport in the last 20 years.

Maybe they have a financial reason. Maybe they are going to build a dome for the baseball team and expect to sell season tickets / be more profitable.

I spent time living as a kid in Montana and we had heavy snows in April & May quite often. I am probably missing something though. I don't know, but from afar it looks like a really bad decision.
