What about Mike Gambino?

Former assistant here under Hughes. He's a dynamic personality, the right age, has had success at BC which is extremely difficult, and recruited the teams that had success for Pete Hughes when he was here.

I'd be all for trying to get him back if he'd leave BC which is his alma mater. Also, BC just made a commitment to baseball with a new facility although it will not be as nice as ours. VT is a much better job than BC if he'd be willing to leave Boston.
