I saw a young Marine LCDR in a store today and I walked up to him and said "thank you and your colleagues for your service."

Anytime I see a man or woman in uniform I take a moment to thank them for what they do to protect us.
Even the police.

The men and women in uniform risk their lives to protect us. Its important for them to know they are appreciated.
