I used to have a system. Set up dates into segments

Not something you would want to inform the date ahead of time.

So we would do something like a festival or party during the afternoon, then if that worked mini golf at night, or a movie or dinner out or what have you. If she made the cut you just keep it rolling.

And if not having those different little parts makes it easy to call it a night a little early
