I hope the only thing hurt was your pride. Unclipping will become second nature before too long. And when the light turns green and you take off, always remember your first priority is to remain in a straight line and stay upright. If you start looking down at your pedals, it's real easy to start swerving, and you don't want to swerve into traffic (or another rider).

Congrats on taking the bike to work. It's a great way to help stay in shape using time you'd otherwise be sitting. Did you have to develop an alternate route to work that's more bike friendly?
