When I was softball coach I gave out game balls. Sometimes two.

I'd sign it with a sharpie and hand it out at the end of the game during snack. I hate snack.

Anyway, I'd mention the good thing(s) the girl did during the game to receive it. I'd also make sure that every girl got one at some point during the season. Sometimes it was hard to find something to say, so when someone got a hit and it wasn't certain there'd be anymore hits during the season for her, I'd grab it. It's a motivator.

No lucite case though.
