Agree, Toronto does have a great music scene


I never got to Montreal on business, but spent sometime in Quebec at different times.

If you like history and cool architecture, you should try to take the 1.5 hour drive to the Quebec old city. A few miles max from the old city, is the area where you can get a bite to eat with variety (Thai, Italian, Vietnamese, Japanes, etc.). All of them will have a few tables outside.

I traveled to a ton of cites across the US and those two in Canada. San Diego, San Franciso, and Quebec are my favorites. I really, really liked Quebec. You could get a hotel downtown, and pretty much walk to many, many things.
