Of my childhood interests wasn't a reader. Maybe a nudge from my mom? A book left on the nightstand by my Dad? Who knows.

I do recall being 11 when Mass attendance was mandatory. Punishment for failure to attend was spending the rest of Sunday in your room. With a shelf full of unread Hardy Boys, the punishment wasn't much of one.
