That's what I think is most likely. I think the hit is where you see...


...the abrupt 90deg stbd turn at 17kts. This would match up with the damage on the freighter.

The container ship was very possibly on auto pilot. It almost looks as if it maneuvers to regain course before it slows and turns around.
