Concur with Bones and vthokieq


I had something strange happen to my router once. I had my initial router name set up, with everything connected.

I made a network name change to something like "NSA Surveillance Van," and reset all of the devices to communicate. Not sure what happened, but it appears the router "reset" to the original network name. Everything continued to work as before, so I'm guessing as long as the name and password are correct, your devices will connect to any wifi network...so bring on that new router!
