I'm talking about charging the $900+.


I've had fiber where I live for a while (and I'm not in a big metro areaI'm in a fairly rural area not much different than Blacksburg/Christiansburg...only without a huge university). The local utility just ran it. They didn't charge $900+ to run it just to people that wanted it.

If you wanted the service then they'd run it from the street directly to your house and I don't remember an additional charge for even that. And it's way better and more reliable than say Charter.

And from everything I've read about internet options in the NRV...they're pretty much crap.
