No. Injuries are not a significant concern. Imo.


If the 2 piece uni's get more kids involved then its a good thing. There are almost no middle school or high school kids that practice in singlets. Its not a matter of toughness. Many middle school teams are missing lots of upper weights because at that age the heavier kids can be very self concious. Doesnt make them soft or less "manly". I'm sure Gable would echo the " suck it up buttercup" mentality too but ancient Greeks wrestled nude and I dont think most people have a problem with that "tradition" going away.
