Did you donate 100K plus to the university? If not you cannot put yourself in those peoples shoes that did and the university made a written and verbal contract with those folks. Long before Whit came to the university. Lets not judge what was agreed to years ago by todays standards. Times change we all understand that. Additionally, the university did not even take into consideration what these donors had done for years to support the university. The presentation on the change was "we are changing the rules" take it or leave it. Not really the way you win the hearts and minds of a group of loyal donors.
