Wife has a work event at the Newseum tonight and I'm trying to set the mood


for when we get home from it. The theme tonight is Rock On! cause they have some exhibit on loan from the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame (I think). 80's gear is encouraged. She just sent me a picture of her 80's makeover.

Wife sends picture (looking pretty hot)
Me: I look forward to getting you home
Wife: Haha, I'm afraid I'm a little too sunburned for that (we just got back from the beach)
Me: We'll use some witch hazel to sooth your skin. Then I'll put on some sultry 80s power ballads to get you in the mood. Followed by a viewing of The Breakfast Club on VHS

I haven't heard back yet. I assume that's because she's busy ordering an Uber and on her way to me.
