I guess many Hokie fans expected him to have more of an impact in


the running game than he did, considering his success in HS. When I was a senior at VT, my buddies and I went to see him play at Blacksburg HS his senior year. He was like a man among boys. Nobody could tackle him or catch him when he broke free.
But many of us were expecting him to be the next Cyrus Lawrence or Roscoe Coles. His impact was more as a receiver than runner.
