Piles of wood, or leaves is where I generally find them


at the same time I've seen many crossing trails along creek bottoms when I bike or run. If I were having a repetitive problem with copperheads I would obtain some kingsnakes native to the area and release them. I've heard of subdivisions that have done that with success.
