Question for Broadway regulars

My wife told me she wants to go see Miss Saigon in NYC for Christmas. I'm looking at tickets for one potential day and there are front-row seats available. However, the website also shows "premium" tickets from Row C back to Row N.

Any thoughts on why front-row seats aren't counted as premium tickets? Is it like at a football game and if you're too close you can't see as much?
