"This is by far the biggest recruiting weekend in my eleven years on staff at Virginia Tech as several of the nation's top high school wrestlers will be in Blacksburg.

NCAA rules do not allow me to name names but according to one of the nation’s top wrestling websites our visitors in the class of 2018 are ranked as follows on the “Big Board” 2, 8,16,18, and 19. Perhaps even more impressive, our visitors in the class of 2019 are1,7, 8, 9,11, 24, 51 on the “Big Board.”

So where do you fit into the equation?

We need the Hokie Nation to show these guys how much we love wrestling in Southwest VA! A huge crowd of Hokie onlookers would sure make a big statement.

Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and College Gameday will be shooting live on campus from 9 am until 12 pm. The SERTC will be conducting an open practice in the wrestling room right after, at 12 pm. "
