Hard to pick just one. As for general amenities and weather, I like VB

Great restaurants, mild winters, summers not too bad... The only think I wish we had on the south side was a bike trail like the Capital Trail. Would be nice to be able to just hop on a paved trail and ride 50+ miles without having to fight traffic every step of the way.

If I wanted perfection, would have a beach residence in the winter, and a mountain residence in the summer. Maybe somewhere within 100 miles of Blacksburg, but far enough out where I could live on 100+ acres of land. Maybe a small beach town (NOT Myrtle Beach) in South Carolina?
