I have 2 systems now.

1) I installed a system in my house about 15 years ago. Then I had alarm company come and hook it up to their monitoring station. Sure, I've triggered it by accident now and again but not many times. And only 1 false alarm (mylar balloon). And we don't have any pets. So, fairly happy with my system now.

2) Installed Simplisafe to my MILs house about 9 months ago. and this is first false alarm. I like this system because I can monitor it remotely via web.

In both systems the monitoring companys are pretty prompt.
