From that list, I don't really know enough about The Meters, Nina Simone, Link Wray, or MC5 to comment.

But if Depeche Mode, Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, or Kate Bush get in, then it's stoopidter than I thought.

The Cure has been nominated once and apparently didn't come close to getting in. That's a problem.

Moody Blues should've been in a LONG time ago.
