The local soccer team struggles to compete with other communities where football isn't as big. As a result, they lose. It's like that at a national level as well. The best athletes are playing football, baseball, basketball, and even lacrosse. In contrast, Panama just declared a national holiday to celebrate getting in. It's just not as big here and never will be.
