I'll debate that; research shows soccer is growing, football declining

I know people have said "soccer is here" since the 80s. I've heard it, too. But it really has arrived. And we're seeing much better athletes in soccer than ever before. I don't think it's an athlete problem. All you need is what, 15-20? From the whole US?

I suspect it is a philosophy/teaching issue, but I don't understand the sport well enough to know.
