Blade Runner '82 one of my few five star films

basically, I only award the 5th star if it tells you something about the human condition. There Deckard was a true human but in the end the replicant Rutger Hauer ended up being the Jesus figure, dying but sparing Deckart. It makes more of a point that Deckard was human Hauer wasn't but the latter ended up being the one that showed compassion.

Agree with the last two paragraphs, kinda had the feeling that I'd seen everything in other movies, this was like a dark Star Wars planet, Luv was another iteration of bitch women villains like in the "Guardians of the Galaxy" etc. etc.

and Last paragraph, Harrison Ford is sinking into a caricature of himself. They also overplayed Sean Young, somewhat crass in my opinion, just showing the picture of her have it waver (like her memory in the first film) would have been a perfect memorial to her.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the film, even a little haunted by Joi, but 3 stars. (3 stars is OK to me, enjoyed it, go see it but eventually just a bunch of stuff)
