Camping, hiking, and drinking beer/ wine is what we like to do. About 8 years ago my family started meeting a friend of ours and his family at Arrowhead Campground every year like in April as our first camping trip of the year. My buddy lives in Pawley's Island SC and it seemed about halfway for both of us. We came every year up till the year before last. We both have sold our campers as the kids got older and we weren't going as much. I have also planted a vineyard since and it takes a lot of my summer month time. But as the kids are moving into college (1 in and 1 soon to be) we hope to get us another camper and resume when possible. We like the spring and fall camping better anyway. Uwharrie is definitely somewhere we will go back to when we do.
