Head down to River Street in Savannah

Several funky places to choose from in terms of dining. Spanky's is a relatively inexpensive (yet pretty decent) option that has a pretty decent rep among locals. It's at the eastern end of the cobblestone part. Vinnie Van Go Go's has exceptionally good pizza. It's located a block and a half off the west end of River Street near SCAD.

Savannah is a great city, IMO. Drive as much of Bull Street either heading to or coming from River Street as you care to. You'll circle most of the parks from Oglethorpe's original plan for the city, and they're a unique place to stretch your legs if nothing else. Forsyth is the biggest, but they're all pretty cool.
