Here's what we did one year. We invited a few friends over
Especially a couple not from here. We asked them to make something traditional to THEM (as opposed to us). It was a lot of fun, and some of the traditional stuff was unusual (especially cole slaw). It also saved us from doing all the cooking, although I did continue my turkey on the Weber kettle.
Now we were in Sandbridge, but the experience was different. It was the first year my surviving sister and I were not together for Thanksgiving.
