That was regionals. The state meet is next.


Not sure how Anneliese will do at states. Anneliese was all-state last year (9th place) at the Group 1A level, but Radford has moved up to Group 2A now.

The state meet is comprised of four regions, and one of the teams is Maggie Walker, a magnet school that basically recruits. They will dominate the state meet, bringing in their top five (scoring) runners probably in the top 20 runners. It squeezes a lot of runners out of all-state (top 15) status.
