Don't they usually happen first thing in the morning?

If a grocery store is opening near where you work, it's not inconceivable if their hours are right. I went when one opened here - they gave away a bunch of stuff, had chefs making gourmet breakfasts on the spot, and all I had to do was leave home a few minutes early.
