I know Google has lots of sneaky ad targeting techniques, such as search history relevance, spying through device microphones, etc....but sometimes I swear it's like they are in my head. I am starting to worry that my old work truck has a head gasket issue, and not even an hour ago I was thinking about whether it would be worth putting a remanufactured engine in it if that turns out to be the case. Just now I was browsing the board and a Google ad for remanufactured engines showed up. I didn't verbalize or type anything about my truck...not so much as even a text message.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence...but it's still pretty freaky.
