Very misleading article. They talk about using a period after a 1-word text


not about accurately punctuating a complete sentence.

When writing one or more complete sentences, yes I punctuate accurately. But when I send a text that just says "yup," or "maybe," or "lol," or "7 pm," no, I don't bother to punctuate it.

And now that I've said that, I scrolled back through my recent text history and I can't find a single 1-2 word text that I've sent in the last two months. The only candidate was I could have responded "no" but instead sent "that would be a negative, ghostrider."
