I guess with all the advertising I now get questions when somebody comes over as to how I like it, etc. since they recognize the name/product even though it was probably there the last time they came by.

I always wanted a camera for the front mainly to make sure packages and/or the mailbox wasn't messed with. Also didn't want to run wiring for a camera so Ring was the best solution at the time. I now see some porch lights with cameras installed which I would like better mainly for the stealth effect that nobody knows they are being recorded. Although the name recognition from Ring might deter folks that might be up to no good as well. I don't think you could go wrong with Nest, Ring, or Circle..
