In my opinion, SEC jobs have become bad jobs.
Yes, they pay very well. But they also come with insane amounts of pressure and completely unrealistic expectations. In essence, if you take an SEC job, you will be fired in three years if you don't beat Alabama and/or win a national championship.
To me, the other "elite" programs in the country (e.g. Ohio State, USC, Texas, and, yes, FSU) are MUCH better options than any SEC school.
So in the context of this discussion, I would think Fu (who seems to have his head screwed on straight) would understand the Tennessee job is toxic and wouldn't go near it even if they threw a dumptruck of money at him. But if FSU decides to throw a dumptruck of money at him, that is at least worth listening to.
