Yesterday, we identified a few things we needed for Christmas - presents and wrapping / prep purposes. I'm on the home PC and have 3 items in the cart, but my wife didn't log out, so I'm in her account. A couple of the items I have in there are potentially presents for her, so I have to copy down the web address of each item, delete them from the cart, exit and re-enter under my login.

I get the 3 items correct and back in the cart, add a couple of more and THEN realize that I didn't come into Amazon through the TSL Link. DAMMIT!!!

So copy a couple more web addresses to make sure I find the exact same items again, leave, go to TSL, come back in from that link and put them all back in the cart.

Now maybe if I left them in the cart and just existed and re-entered through TSL, then TSL gets the money? But I'm not sure if it would work that way, so I went through the extra rigmarole to get it for certain.
