Question about Facebook "hacked" Account. I have a Facebook->

account that I use some. I'm not a big Facebook person and don't post hardly at all. i DO use it to keep up with some far flung friends and Hokies spread around the world, so it IS worth me having.

NOW the problem..EVERY single time I log in and check a notification, I get an email that my account has been hacked. That "someone" has logged in to my account. Uh, yeah...that "someone" is ME.: No matter if I say it WAS me, or was NOT me, I still have to change my password. Making this worse is that you can't reuse passwords so I'm fast running out of passwords (not to mention it is a pain in the ass).

There is no getting through to Facebook to get an answer, so I throw myself on the mercy and infinite knowledge of the Lounge :>)

If I completely uninstall and reinstall Facebook, do I lose every friend I had in there? I'm not so worried about Timelines and that kind of stuff..but i DO want to keep the list of friends I have accumulated over the years so I can keep up with them...Any thoughts on this, or a way i can stop these incessant emails making me change my password every time I try to go to Facebook?

TIA
