Had to replace a PCB in my parents' dishwasher a few months ago

Theirs actually decided to have a little fire. The warranty company refused to replace the entire thing- just wanted to replace the "motherboard" as they called it. Then they groused about removing it. They are lucky the equipment they covered didn't burn the house down. That would have cost a little bit more than a PCB replacement. Ultimately I had to pull the dishwasher out and disassemble it while their "technician" stood there with the new PCB in hand.

Not that it left an impression on me or anything.
