I hear this critique a lot about shotguns at goal line but could hear a pin
drop all the times it does work.
I made a point of this after Clemson beat bama on the last play FROM THE SHOTGUN NEAR GOAL LINE to all of the Clemson people who made the same criticism you are when we lost at FSU in 2014 (we had many blunders that game, one of them was a botched snap at the goal llne in the shotgun, the Clemson faithful went BALLISTIC about that call, saying Morris should be fired, Swinney was an idiot, all the usual craziness).
Nobody had a response, because there wasn't one. Their analysis is strictly based on outcome, which in sports is a fallacy. A bad call can have a good outcome and a good call can have a bad outcome. [Post edited by clemson81nc at 12/29/2017 1:27PM]
