Also as I understand it, the new Model 3s will not get free supercharging. They will have to pay. There is also a fee that kicks in if you don’t leave after you are done charging. Realistically, you could just charge at home. A full charge takes about 8 hours overnight. We have an electric car rate from so Cal Edison that is about 1/3 the normal rate for electricity at off hours so the cost of use is minimal. But the supercharging is nice. Pull up, plug in, walk to Costco, shop, come back to a fully charged car.
