death threat against somebody, it is an actual crime. You can phrase your language to make your point without getting into trouble though. My pop when I was younger had an issue with a neighbor and the neighbor called the cops on him and had a discussion about threats. And if you watch any of the cop tv shows you see it all the time about threats.
